Rosendahl Lyngby Vase, Burgundy Mouth Blown Glass Grooved Design, 8.07" Fluted Light-Play Column, Gift-Ready Danish Design Statement

When the Lyngby vase and by whom was designed is unknown. The classic will have emerged sometime between the end of the 19th century until the mid-1920s. The design is characterised by the German Bauhaus and the functionalism beginning at the time. In the period between 1936 and 1960, it became the hit of the Lyngby Porcelæns factory in Kongens Lyngby due to its simple elegance. After closing the porcelain factory in Copenhagen, the vase became a bestseller at Denmark's flea markets. After revising the design in 2012, the classic has been offered again under the Lyngby Porcelæn brand since 2013. First, the vase was only offered in glossy and matt glazed white, later other colours followed and in 2015 the vases made of glass in clear and colourful. The tea light holders are also complemented in the same ripple design in two sizes and the sweets in two sizes.

The glass has a reassuring weight with a stable base, and the fluted sides create refined reflections from every angle. Hand wash only to preserve clarity, color saturation, and the polished finish.
• Mid Height Stem Control: Measures 8.07" high with a 4.33" diameter, giving the vase presence without visual heaviness. The opening gathers stems into a more composed line, keeping arrangements upright and controlled. Even empty, the ribbed cylinder reads as a sculptural object.
• Gift Box Ready Finish: Arrives in Lyngby’s gift ready packaging, so presentation feels resolved without extra wrapping. It settles naturally on a dining table or entry console, adding a calm architectural note with or without flowers. White tulips or deep red ranunculus keep the palette rich and tonal against the burgundy glass.
• Lyngby Lineage: The iconic groove language ties back to Lyngby’s design heritage, carried forward in glass with the same clarity of line and proportion.
